WOL3D presents High-quality and Affordable 3d Printers for Every Office and Household
WOL3D is the pioneer of 3D Printing Technology in India, The brand recently launched a new set of exclusive 3D Printers through cutting-edge research and innovation in an effort to close the gap between ideation and manufacturing. The new printers named Pixel S1, Twilight 10, and Aster Max simplify the user experience for hassle-free 3D model manufacturing and prototyping. These Printers are strong, dependable, and affordable, with high-quality parts that enable makers, innovators, designers, and dreamers to create, innovate, and improve the world.
India’s first authentic DIY 3D printers introduced by WOL3D are quick and simple to assemble and don’t require previous knowledge for new users. It has an auto-leveling feature that may automatically make up for the unevenness of the hotbed. Due to its intelligent sensor technology, it can quickly continue printing after a power loss or when the filament runs out. Products up to 16 inches in size can be printed with the printers. WOL3D’s 3D printers offer online printing, SD, USB, and USB-C.
WOL3D also offers a wide range of products such as 3D Prototyping services, 3D Printers, 3D Filaments, 3D Scanners, and 3D Pens. Both children and adults can use their 3D pens to develop their artistic abilities. With the tools to generate 3D things, any DIY projects or even straightforward sketches become intriguing. Additionally, there are numerous sorts of filaments, including silk, nylon, carbon, ABS+, and many others, so there is never a dull moment with 3D pens.
WOL3D itself has a prestigious badge of honour to be conferred on Indian brands that have played a significant role in building the nation’s identity by supporting the AatmaNirbharBharat Abhiyan by having its own filament manufacturing factory in Mumbai.
In the last 5 years, WOL3D has gained expertise in making affordable and quality 3D printing products which are available on e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, FirstCry, etc. The technology provides new opportunities for different sectors like Education, Industrial Manufacturing, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Designing, and Health, enabling easier prototyping. WOL3D also provides Prototyping services in FDM, SLS, SLA, DMLS, Reverse Engineering, Vacuum casting, and CAD/CAM.
WOL3D is India’s only consumer 3D printing brand having a Pan India presence with offices in more than 10 cities, working with more than 100+ resellers, and growing numbers rapidly.
WOL3D has built India’s First Sustainable 3D Printing Experience Centre in Mumbai for anyone to walk in and experience this futuristic technology that can be easily used in everyday lives and in all industries. The centre has solar panels and only uses clean energy, which significantly reduces its carbon footprint. The cutting-edge facility demonstrates that high-end technology can be both simply understood and used in everyday life. WOL3D is also one of the fastest growing companies and has a proven franchise model and reseller model which can be opted by different industries.
Co-founders Rahul Chandalia and Pradeep Jain, with director Saloni Chandalia, believe “we constantly want to innovate and improve our services to assist the Indian market by making 3D printing affordable for all.”

Volgograd scientists were the first in the world to invent a 5D printer
Volgograd is me
26 Mar 2021 10:40, 9 photos
Even the big minds from Siemens and Mitsubishi failed to do this.
Artem Avdeev, a graduate of the Department of Automation of Production Processes, VolgGTU, was the first in the world to invent the technology of five-axis 3D printing, or, more simply, a 5D printer. Last year, Artem presented his development to the scientific community, and the day before, the journalists of Gorodskiye Vesti looked at the unique printer. About how the miracle machine was created and why the Volgograd printer was needed by the Chinese - in our material.
“We even sell abroad”
It looks like a 5D printer, something like a microwave oven: white, square, transparent and with a door. Only this device is intended for a completely different “kitchen”. It can easily be used to manufacture spare parts for imported and domestic equipment, and their cost is usually lower than that of purchased ones.
On the same table with a thirty-kilogram 5D printer are its predecessors - 3D printers of various modifications.
- All of them are designed and manufactured by students, graduates and postgraduates of our university, - says the head of the VolgGTU Prototyping Center, Candidate of Technical Sciences Alexei Makarov. - For example, this one (Alexey Mikhailovich points to a device with a darkened front glass) was born last year. Its author is 4th year student Mikhail Kozenko. The guy in his first year began to get involved in this area of work, gathering a team of like-minded fellow students. Now their modification of the 3D printer has been put into mass production and is sold even abroad. In it, the part is more durable, since not only the table on which it stands during printing is heated, but the entire camera.
We asked the scientist what explains the "gap" between 3D and 5D printers. Simply put, why is there no 4D printer in nature?
— The construction of a product on a 3D printer is carried out by melting a plastic thread from a coil and extruding the melt through a nozzle, which at the same time moves along a pre-calculated trajectory in a horizontal plane, — Alexey Makarov explains. - When the construction of the layer in the horizontal plane ends, the product goes down a little and the next layer is built on top of the previous one. In fact, 4D printers exist, they add certain features to 3D printers, but they have a large number of limitations and do not provide a fundamental leap in the quality of manufactured products.
In a 5D printer, the print head can move in two directions, as it did in a 3D printer, but instead of a table, the chamber has a small cylindrical base that can also move vertically. In addition, it can rotate and tilt. Thus, it is possible to build a part not from flat layers, as in a conventional 3D printer, but from complex spatial trajectories. They are intertwined, sintered, and the part is several times stronger than on a conventional 3D printer, and it can turn out even stronger than cast. An additional "bonus" is that less raw materials and time are spent on printing.
Cheap and cheerful
The resource of a digital printer is very large - the device can print without interruption for weeks or even months.
“A part made on our printer is ten times cheaper than foreign serial counterparts,” says Makarov. — And such products are in demand in many areas, ranging from the production of rubber seals and plastic components for any industrial and household appliances to medicine, aircraft and rocket manufacturing.
The Volgograd development of a 5D printer is the only one in the world. Two years ago, pre-industrial samples of Volgograd printers visited an exhibition in Germany, where they made a splash. The Chinese, right in the showroom, were ready to disassemble them into parts, and then make an exact copy under their own brand. Such giants of the world industry as Siemens, Mitsubishi and others are struggling with the problem of multi-axis 3D printing, but it was our polytechnics who managed to make a breakthrough in technology, which was significantly ahead of Western competitors. Siemens is actively developing software for multi-axis printing, but their solutions lack universality, simplicity, and transparency. They need a high-class specialist to prepare a model for printing and a lot of time for only partially automated pre-production. And for a Volgograd 5D printer, even a schoolboy can prepare a model for printing in a few minutes.
Volgograd residents who created a 5D printer organized their own company, which is currently a Skolkovo resident. The company is actively cooperating with the technical university, and Volgograd students do their internship there and even carry out developments aimed at further improving the quality of printing, which are then introduced into serial models of printers.
