Prusa Research and Cosplay, somehow did not expect.
Greetings!
In the name of Yango, Boba, and all-pervading medichloroanes...May the Force be with you,
young Padawan!
The clearest video about the popular cosplay design - an element of the costume.
Fett and Yango's helmets are different and attention to detail is very important for diehard fans;
one frame-by-frame viewing of the entire Saga is not enough,
especially since there were several original prototypes of such helmets during filming,
and they all differed, which has its own fan research.
I will not talk about the properties of the PETG material yet, but I will be glad to see your comments with an emphasis on printouts of LARGE Products.

Boba Wett's 'Battle Damaged' Helmet - as soon as I find it, I'll put it a little later,
but structurally and in its design - this is the same basic model of the Mandalorian Battle Helmet.
The text part of the article about post-processing is here - if you have any questions - ask, I won't translate everything.

Note:
In the article on Pryusha's website, incorrect models of Jango (Yango) Fett's hand weapons are given as an addition.
In the appendix - I have given how the replicas and the whole costume look right.
Regards,
Ski.

The first printed 3D model - Boba Fett's Star Wars helmet for doll
In general, I “turned” to 3D modeling and 3D printing thanks to this order. Previously, I was interested in this without thinking that I myself would want to try something like “blind” in a 3D editor.
It all started when the customer asked me to make Boba Fett's helmet from Star Wars for the doll. Initially, I planned to sculpt it, of course. And, of course, with some longing I thought about how difficult it would be to reproduce a symmetrical model with so many details and special shapes. After googling for a while, I stumbled upon a tutorial on how to build a similar helmet in real full scale. The author first printed out a paper model of the helmet, glued this model into a frame, and then began processing (compacting, priming, etc.). I thought it would be great to do this, but gluing such a model for doll size is unrealistic.
And then it hit me with 3D printing.
In a sense, of course, this is cheating. But I think it is quite justified, because. the helmet is somehow not a product of creativity from my head. And here the accuracy of reproduction was very important. 3D printing is now quite accessible to ordinary people like me, in our city there are at least three companies that provide such services. This is called conditional printing. Rather, it is a layer-by-layer build-up of plastic.
I've seen gizmos that were printed specifically for dolls on 3D printers (for example, shoe soles), and the printed dolls themselves too (articulated ones). And here's how it would be given the opportunity to try it yourself, as it happens.
First, of course, we found a 3D model of the helmet. Star Wars is a very popular fandom, fans have already modeled almost everything that is possible and impossible, and posted it in the public domain.
Anyway, in the end I got this little thing. Here I tried it on the experimental. Still, I didn’t calculate the dimensions a little and the result turned out to be too big (although the customer, on the contrary, liked it).
Printed helmet made of ABS plastic (as I understand it), the material is quite durable. True, my antenna still broke off (But this is not surprising, it is very thin. The surface of the printed model is, as it were, covered with thin lines-layers, embossed, this is especially noticeable on rounded surfaces. I believe that this is a feature of 3D printing + the plastic itself. Perhaps it also depends on the degree of accuracy of the printer. I took a picture of the helmet on my arm, the antenna had already broken off)
Hollow inside:
Mandatory dent made by pyrograph. Miracle thing! I'm starting to love him))
And I had to repeat this:
It turned out like this:
First, I covered the entire helmet with silver acrylic paint with a sponge, two layers. Left it to dry for a couple of hours. Then I covered each area with a couple of layers of paint of the desired color (green, red, etc.), after 5-7 minutes I “sanded” these layers in the right places to achieve a worn effect.
