Ultimaker PLA is made from biodegradable raw materials. This material was specially developed for Ultimaker 3D printers, so printing on a proprietary device with this filament is easy and reliable. Also, Ultimaker PLA can print on other FDM printers. PLA filament is perfectly combined with Ultimaker PVA water-soluble material, this combination allows you to design and print a 3D model without geometric restrictions.
Cura provides material profiles for various requirements. The thread spool contains an embedded NFC chip that transmits information about the material and the remaining thread length directly to Cura.
