Open Blender. For convenience, we will place a drawing of the cooling tower, the layout of which we will create, on the screen in the program. To do this, create another window and select Editor UV / Images , then select our image file.
We won't draw all the elements of the cooling tower, we only need its layout.
Most similar in shape to the cooling tower is the cylinder.
Therefore, we create a cylinder (to do this, press Shift + A and then select Cylinder).
Let our cooling tower have 12 faces, so we create a cylinder with 12 vertices. Since the dimensions are not fundamental to us, we create the radius and depth “by eye”.
Let the Radius be 10 and the Depth be 2.
Next go to Edit Mode ( Tab on the keyboard) and create the lower part of the cooling tower. To do this, cut the loop (command Ctrl + R ) our cylinder into two parts.
