We all love seeing others’ perfectly illuminated 3D printers, right? Many, however, lack the soldering skills (or spare time) to hack together a DIY solution. So, we decided to make it easy to add LED lighting to almost any 3D printer with our new solder-free kits.
Our hot end kit includes everything you need to add awesome, super-bright white lighting to most printers’ hotends. Each kit is pre-assembled, with a special crimp-on connector that allows you to safely tap into your hotend fan or part cooling fan power (no soldering skills required). The LEDs we use, while bright, draw very little current, and are therefore safe to be spliced into any fan power. The V-slot lighting kit includes pre-soldered and crimped spade connectors that connect directly to your printer’s power supply, with no soldering, cutting or splicing required.

The 24V Premium White LED Light Bar is a complete lighting kit solution for the Creality Ender 3 and Ender 3 PRO 3D Printers.
Designed to outlast traditional adhesive LED strips and cheap USB light tubes, this Premium White LED Light Bar features a rigid 3030 PCB that can operate 24/7 for years.
The profile housing is machined from a high-grade aluminum alloy, anodized black to match the Ender 3 frame. It's not just for aesthetics though. It also doubles as a heatsink, drawing heat away from the electrical components to vastly extend the service life.
A semi transparent cover helps to diffuse light, providing a soft, bright glow to illuminate the machine's build plate. Equipped with a dial based dimmer switch, you can control the brightness levels or turn it off when desired.
Best of all, there is no soldering or crimping is required. Just mount the LED Light Bar on the top of the frame using the included hardware. Plug the yellow pass through connector in between the existing XT60 power cables and you're finished. Running on the 3D Printer's electrical system, it turns on and off with the machine.

I just bought my 3rd of these lights and they are the best quality of life upgrade for an Ender 3. Super bright and takes all of 30 seconds to install. I like the big dial knob so you can dim the light how you want it. Also, they provide the STL for a switch mount you can 3D print for free on Thingiverse.

Very minimalist and clean. Installed in less than an hour. Love the fact that it is aluminum instead of cheap plastic. Matches the machine perfectly! Before it came I printed out the switch holder and it fit perfectly as well. The wiring harness is well thought out and fits. I will be buying more products from your fine company as soon as I need them!

What to look for when choosing a 3D printer light
There are several factors to consider when deciding which 3D printer light is best for you.
- Placement and Orientation: If you direct the light towards the center of the 3D printer, it will illuminate the area of the printed model. If you place the backlight outward, then this illumination will be enough not only for your part, but for the entire 3D printer.
- Power supply: you can implement a backlight for a 3D printer through the printer's power supply or take a separate power source.
