In our center, the first in Ukraine intraoral scanner of the latest generation iTero appeared - a technology that allows you to predict the result of orthodontic treatment even before it starts.
The iTero Scanner is more than just an imaging device. iTero TimeLapse technology allows patients to see how their teeth can change their position over time during treatment.

In addition to the benefits of oral diagnostics, the scanner provides Invisalign Outcome Simulator , which is only available for iTero scanners.
This is the creation of a 3D model of your future smile. This allows:
- patients - to see the expected result of orthodontic treatment,
- doctors - to make changes to 3D models of teeth in real time, demonstrating the effect and changes during treatment with aligners.
During the consultation, the doctor on the 3D model of the patient gets the opportunity to:
- make the necessary changes, corrections, recreate the extractions necessary before treatment directly on the 3D model,
- make changes necessary for future implantation (if it is in the patient's plans ),
- show planned corrections,
- show visualization of the treatment result.
Also, it is possible to recreate and calculate all treatment options and their outcome, plan a sequence of actions on the way to a beautiful and healthy smile.
How the iTero scanner works
Before starting work, a special individual nozzle is put on the scanner
This nozzle helps to easily move over the entire surface of the oral cavity, teeth and notice all changes in the dentition.
Taking pictures of the oral cavity
The scanner takes several hundred pictures of the oral cavity from different angles. When all the necessary data is received, the system integrates the images into a virtual model of your teeth and displays the image on the screen.
A simulation of a model of a future smile is created
Within 1 minute a simulation is created - a model of your teeth at the moment and how they can be after orthodontic treatment. On the screen of the apparatus you can see the possible movements of your teeth - a mini film (video) about your future smile.
