2022 3D Printing Industry Awards Nominations Open
The 3D Printing Industry Awards are back.
Our annual celebration of everything related to the 3D printing industry is a unique event. The awards are open to any individual, enterprise or company active in the industry.
Winners are selected by the most informed people in our industry, you the reader.
This is a two-stage process. It is quite straightforward, stage one takes place during October.
Anyone can nominate a company, enterprise or individual in relevant categories. Those with the most nominations will be entered onto the shortlists, these shortlists then go to a public vote.
Stage two will run through November and early December. The winners will be announced live at the 3D Printing Industry Awards ceremony on Tuesday 13th December 2022. To make sure you don’t miss your invitation to attend, subscribe to our newsletter.
Today we open stage one: Nominations.

Our examples of 3D printed awards, the use of 3D printers in marketing
Our examples of 3D printed awards, the use of 3D printers in marketingOur projects
3D printing in Russia is a new, not yet boring, actively popularized direction.
This means that this is an opportunity to loudly and effectively draw attention to yourself and bring bold creative ideas to life.
We have several successfully completed projects using 3D printing in marketing, fashion, and HR.
We have repeatedly engaged in the development of design, creation of 3D models and printing of awards for various awards.
For example, one day the organizer of the annual award for HR professionals - Trainings 2014 contacted us and asked come up with an award that changes the usual format of award diplomas for something more modern and memorable.
When we took on this order, all we had at our disposal was the website of the event, from which we together with one of our 3D designers came up with a concept and made a 3D model of the figurine. Moreover, the winner in each of the six nominations were not known in advance, so we decided to model the figurines in such a way that we could paste the name laureate immediately before the presentation.
Thus, after agreeing the 3D model with the customer, we printed from full color plaster six awards and about 20 plaster plaques with the names of the finalists. The nameplates of the winners were glued directly backstage after the announcement of the winners. Both organizers and guests of the event were satisfied with the new, interesting format awards.
Another example from our award 3D printing practice is design development, 3D model making and 3D printing of polyamide figurines for the annual award in the fashion industry PROfashion Awards 2014.
As in the case above, here the initial information for further work was only information about the event and the wishes of the customer. Everything else is the professionalism of our 3D designer and the capabilities of an industrial 3D printer.
We also had the opportunity to work with the organizer of the largest Russian festival of hip-hop music Rap Music Vlad Valov, who asked us to print awards for the festival.
We have modeled and printed on 3D printers a composite award from two materials - polyamide and multicolor plaster. At the same time, after printing, the upper plastic part of the award was painted gold and glued to the plaster base.
In addition, we took part in the implementation of the adidas advertising campaign organized as part of the Festival. street culture FACES&LACES 2014.
The campaign included a competition that gave away new models of sneakers, as well as the opportunity to get your own mini-copy printed on a 3D printer.
The festival was held in the summer in Gorky Park, where the adidas booth where we scanned over 30 people over the weekend. Next, we finalized the resulting 3D models, “shoeing” scanned people in adidas sneakers, after which they printed miniature figures of people on a plaster 3D printer.
Within the scope of this of the event, we scanned and printed mini-copies of Yura Makarychev, the soloist of the famous indie band ON-THE-GO and a journalist, singer, producer and presenter Snezhina Kulova.
And this is not all our capabilities - we specialize in the development of 3D models and 3D printing corporate gifts, branded souvenirs, logos and other branding.
For example, by order of Intel, we designed and printed New Year's balls - gifts for the company's customers.

We also modeled and printed a master model for casting a buckle according to sketches by designer Olga Kolesman. Now you can buy buckles cast from metal according to master models printed on a 3D printer in the designer clothes studio KOLESMAN studio.
A for the bottle design factory we made a 3D model and printed it from plaster attributes for corporate photography - buckles with Flacon logo.
In addition, we have repeatedly printed landscape and architectural models on 3D printers, created 3D models, printed prototypes and finished products for various collections of Russian designers, artists, jewelers, made prototypes parts and mechanisms for large industrial organizations, printed visual materials and samples for exhibitions and presentations.
If you want to go beyond standard solutions and implement a bright and memorable project, contact us and we will gladly detail we will tell you about all the possibilities of 3D printing in business.
For inspiration, we invite you to learn about interesting projects involving 3D printing from global brands.

Article applies to printers:
PICASO Designer X PROIn February, the organizers of the Zelenograd.ru People's Prize contest contacted us, PICASO 3D, to make awards for the winners. Of course, we could not but respond to the request of Zelenograd residents (after all, we live and work in this city).
The award ceremony took place a few days ago, and now we are ready to share with you the history of the awards.
Based on the design of the award, our colleague developed a 3D model of the award - the main requirement is "beautiful". And for a printer, it is important that it is printed quickly and easily - without supports, the sizes of letters and lines are adapted for printing 😉
The model turned out to be a team - the award itself and a small stand.
Printed on Designer X PRO in two nozzles - FormaX (to get a beautiful texture) + ABS (lemon color is similar to the brand colors of the award).
Printing time - 4 hours reward (one per table) and another 2.5 hours coasters (printed 4 pcs.). A total of 14 kits were made (12 for awards and a couple more "just in case)".
After summing up the results of the awards, plates with the name of the company and the name of the winner were pasted on the awards 🤗
If you ever printed awards, tell us what requirements you place on the model?
