    Free vector images Many anglers at some point in their development are taken to harp their own wobblers for some reason. Someone, in order to save money, cuts a “mino” from some kind of block of wood, someone just likes the process, someone embodies some of their ideas that they cannot find in available factory baits. Most end up with gizmos of dubious aesthetic quality, some actually turn out to be masterpieces. Those who are able to make masterpieces, as I understand it, often then sell them expensively as "hand-made" and turn their production into a kind of mini-business.     What I'm saying is that I wouldn't have had any chance of joining this crowd of handicraft wobblers without a 3D printer. Suddenly, a person who knows how to click the keys and does not naturally have very straight arms is able to produce pieces of plastic with some kind of complex internal structure, and they will turn out to be even and symmetrical. Wow! I have never been able to make something even and symmetrical in my life up to this point.

    At wobbler factories, as I understand it, the process goes something like this: first they make a “master”, cutting it manually or using a computer and CNC, using the “master” they make a mold for casting wobbler halves, cast them, shove the weight and frame , glue, test, paint and pack. nine0005

    A 3D printer, theoretically, is able to remove all stages from this chain up to “shove the load”. We can print either the whole wobbler with all the internal cavities in one piece, or print it in halves. It is clear that it would be more fun to print in one piece, but I have not figured out how to solve the problem of stuffing in the process of printing the load and the frame (yet). Therefore, for now, I settled on the second option. But, in order:

    Long before the printer arrived, I started learning Blender. This is such a cool and free 3D modeling program. Making some exact models is not her forte, more often she is used for some creative purposes, modeling for animation, all sorts of sculptures, all that. But, it seemed to me that it should be enough for wobblers. So I sat down for it and, a few days later, gave birth to a couple of models, taking the well-known lures as a basis. nine0005

    Let me explain why I relied on existing models. It is difficult or even impossible for a beginner "3D modeler" to mold something from scratch. There is no understanding how all this voluminous garbage functions. "Reverse engineering" is much easier to do. You constantly see the final result in front of you and sculpt its likeness.

    Here it should be noted that I do not urge everyone to buy three-dimensional printers, sit down at Blender and start making clones of well-known lures. Firstly, all sorts of kosadaks, tsuribits and other Chinese are already doing this, and secondly, it will be very, very difficult to make a 100% exact copy (kosadaks and tsuribits also fail). Both geometrically (without a cool 3D scanner, at least) and in terms of physical properties.
