License activation

• STEP 02: After successful installation, when the device is properly connected, double click to open the software and activate the device. The activation format is "online activation". Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.

  Calibration is required by default when installing the software for the first time.

  Calibration is also required in the following cases:

  1. Device change
  2. After the device has endured uneven transport
  3. After the accuracy of the device has decreased
  4. The device has not been calibrated for a long time, e. g. 15 days.
  5. When using the Color Pack, the position of the texture camera has been changed.

  Selecting a Scan Mode

  Use Manual Quick Scan Mode in the following cases:

  • Quick Scan Required;
  • Objects with good geometry for feature alignment;
  • Objects are difficult to move or are too large to remain on the turntable for scanning.

  Use the manual HD scan mode in the following cases:

  • Requires high accuracy and high resolution for handheld scanning;
  • Objects are difficult to move or are too large to remain on the turntable for scanning.

  Use fixed scan mode with turntable in the following cases:

  • High precision and high resolution required;
  • Object trails within 150 mm, which may not cover most encoded targets on the turntable;
  • Weight up to 5kg;
  • Object area over 150mm with rich geometry can also work in fixed scan with turntable by aligning the elements.

  Use fixed scan mode without turntable in the following cases:

  • High precision and high resolution required;
  • Items too large or heavy to work on the turntable.
