Unmatched Design Freedom, Brilliant Color 3D Printing

The Objet500 Connex3 bring agility and aesthetics to every stage of your product development and production. The Connex3 system was the first 3D printer in the world to simultaneously 3D print multiple colors and materials. It continues to lead the field with an even broader range of printing capabilities so you can create parts with the precision, look and feel of real production parts. Connex3 delivers incredible efficiency with the power to serve your diverse needs with one system.

Multiple materials can be loaded at one time in the Connex3, enabling you to print parts that require a range of mechanical, optical or thermal properties like non-slip grips, transparent windows or flexible hinges.

Fast, flexible colors can be printed directly from the color information in your original CAD file. Produce smooth three-color gradients, vivid multi-color textures, sleek transparencies or milky opaque colors.

No assembly required for parts 3D printed with multiple materials, so you can create custom jigs, assembly fixtures and tools with ultra-fine accuracy and smooth surfaces.

The point-and-click Objet Studio software makes it simple for anyone to build high-quality accurate 3D models with the Connex3 systems.

Versatile Material Options

Over 1,000 material options are available on the Connex3, enabling you to print both complex and delicate features on your models, re-creating astonishingly realistic production parts. Delivering special material properties such as transparency, flexibility and even bio-compatibility, the PolyJet technology built in to the Connex3 systems offers you a competitive edge in consumer products prototyping, precision tooling and specialized production parts.

3D printer Description of the Objet500 Connex 3D printer

Objet Connex500 - provides realistic products combining the limitless possibilities of over 100 different materials with the highest level of productivity and a large print chamber. The Objet500 Connex combines high prototyping speed with very thin layers, allowing you to quickly and accurately create large parts or even multiple parts made from different materials. The Objet500 Connex printer offers all the benefits of Connex's innovative multi-material 3D printing technology in a 500x400x200mm print chamber, spacious enough to accommodate large models or a large number of parts.

About the printer "Objet500 Connex"

Thanks to the patented PolyJet multi-material printing technology, the Objet500 Connex printer can create models from 14 different materials within a single job. This feature provides a high level of realism in the visualization of the final product. This system is ideal for designers and engineers who want to effectively demonstrate different materials in complex or prefabricated products. materials With the widest range of over 100 materials, including over 90 digital materials that are created during the printing of the model, the Objet500 Connex printer allows you to simulate various mechanical and physical properties (from rubber to rigid; from opaque to transparent; from standard to ABS). The main materials include the following. Transparent material (VeroClear) for checking the fit and measuring the profiles of transparent detailed components and simulating transparent thermoplastics such as PMMA A range of elastic materials (Tango series) that are suitable for a range of products requiring a non-slip or soft surface Clear material (RGD720) that mimics conventional plastics for products that require dimensional stability and a smooth surface A range of opaque rigid materials (Vero series) in a variety of colors including white, grey, blue and black Polypropylene-like material (DurusWhite) for creating snap-on products similar to polypropylene Objet composite digital materials include the following. Digital ABS (material RGD5160-DM, made from RGD515 and RGD535), which mimics ABS engineering plastics and combines high temperature resistance and high strength. Digital ABS2 has the same properties plus increased stiffness and strength in wall thicknesses below 1. 2mm Heat resistant material for extended functionality testing, use in hot air and water flow, static use and model building for exhibitions Transparent shadows and swatches Opaque hard shadows Various reinforcing elastic materials High temperature resistant polypropylene

New Objet500 Connex3 3D printer

Publication date:

Stratasys takes product design and manufacturing to the next level with the world's first multi-material color 3D printer

The new Objet500 Connex3 3D printer delivers unprecedented color realism.

Stratasys, a manufacturer of 3D printers and materials for personal use, prototyping and manufacturing, announced the launch of the groundbreaking Objet500 Connex3 multi-material color 3D printer.

The Objet500 Connex3 3D Printer supports a unique printing technology that uses three base materials to produce models. Rigid, flexible, transparent colored materials, as well as composite materials can be used as materials. All these materials can be combined with each other in one print cycle.

This feature makes it possible to obtain complex assemblies already at the output of the printer. Additional assembly or painting is no longer required, greatly saving time. This helps product manufacturers validate designs and make the right decisions ahead of production and bring products to market faster.

Stratasys' mission is to help customers revolutionize the way they design and manufacture products. The new 3D printer will significantly upgrade the way we design, develop and manufacture new products. With the evolution of Connex technology, Stratasys continues to push the boundaries of what's possible in the 3D world.

Combination of three primary colors of materials to create a spectrum of vibrant colors.

Similar to inkjet printing on a conventional 2D inkjet printer, the new printer can produce a multi-color image by combining three different color materials (CMY). Vero Cyan, Vero Magenta and Vero Yellow have already been developed for this purpose and are combined in a print cycle to create hundreds of vibrant colors. These color materials are added to PolyJet's wide range of photopolymers, including composites, rigid, rubbery, clear, and high temperature materials to mimic standard and high temperature engineering plastics.

In the near future, Stratasys intends to release six palettes of colored Tango rubber-like materials from opaque to transparent with different mechanical properties for the mechanical engineering, FMCG and sports markets.
