Even 20 years ago, I would have been considered crazy if I said that I could make shoes, a toy, dentures and even living organs in such a small box in just a few hours.

The scope of 3D printing is almost limitless. It can be used in construction, design, testing, medicine, dentistry, clothing and footwear, souvenirs, toys. The list can be continued indefinitely.

But what could not be expected was that someone would think of printing God. Not alive, of course, but an exact copy of it.

Mad Italian scientists are so passionate about religion that they decided to print 3D model of Jesus Christ . Giulio Fanti from University of Padua has been scrupulously studying Shroud of Turin for several years.

These years were not in vain. Giulio took measurements, which formed the basis of the 3D copy of Jesus. “ From now on, Jesus Christ should be presented in light of this work ,” Fanti said. Other scientists managed to recreate the appearance of Mary Magdalene.

The results are stunning. According to the measurements of the scientist, the Son of God was a real giant. His height was almost 180 centimeters , while the height of an ordinary person two thousand years ago was about 155 centimeters .

The measurer reported that the study of the shroud helped to discover all the wounds that were on the body of Christ.

« I managed to count 370 scourging wounds . This is not counting the multiple wounds on the sides, which, unfortunately, cannot be examined, since the shroud was in contact with the body only in front and behind.

Moreover, we managed to find out that a person was dying with a strong sagging to the right, the dislocation of the shoulder was so serious that it injured the nerves,” says the scientist.

The controversy around the Shroud of Turin continues, and this model only adds fuel to the fire and gives new arguments to both those who consider it genuine and those who claim that it is a fake.
