Features

Flashforge Creator Pro 2 is an evolution of Creator Pro. Instead of a single print head with two parallel nozzles like the original Pro, the Pro 2 has an IDEX system with two separate heads that are fixed in the Y axis but can move independently in the X. This opens up many new print modes that are not possible on the original Pro.

Using the IDEX system offers a wide range of modes, from multi-color printing to direct and mirror duplication. You can run two printouts at the same time, doubling productivity. However, please note that the default working volume of 200 x 148 x 150 mm is reduced to 80 x 148 x 150 mm and 95 x 148 x 150 mm respectively in mirror or parallel mode.

In addition, double extrusion allows you to combine different materials. Perhaps most notable is the ability to print geometrically complex objects with a large number of soluble props. The two direct-drive extruders and their 240°C hot-ends should be able to handle a wide range of filaments, although the PETG family will still lead the way.
