Very few parts needed to puchase, most parts are printed. Everything goes together using M3 screws. Takes a standard 540 size motor and standard 55g servo.

Most parts print without any supports. The few parts that take supports wont need a lot of them. Almost all is printed in PLA, with the handle bars and snow flap printed in TPU. Designed to fit a 200x200mm print bed.

This thing is a lot of fun.

Disclaimer: Due to printer abilities being different and always changing, and the nature of an off road vehicle there is a good chance you will brake parts. Luckily they should be easy to reprint and fix rather quickly. I will do my best to provide support through discord and if files are found in need up improvement I will do my best to improve and then include for free for those who have purchased the snowmobile. I give no guarantee that it will print perfect on your machine or that things will not brake when you send the sled flying off a cliff.

0.2mm layer height

4-6 perimeters

15% infill for non structural parts(hood, seat, etc)

75% infill for structural parts(frame, a-arms, spindal, gears, etc)

If your driving seems to break a specific part often then try printing it in TPU but with many perimiters and high infill, this should help absorb the impacts.

We continue to show what interesting things we printed. This week we have implemented the 'Sanki' project.

We don't know where, but it's still winter in Ryazan. But spring, though slowly, but still comes into its own. And you need to prepare for this. Due to the fact that it’s a bit early for strollers, and sleds don’t pass everywhere, it was decided to add all-terrain sleds to the sled.

Designed and implemented a wheel system for sleds. We tried to make the wheels as big as possible. This adds smoothness and patency. The larger the diameter, the lower the angular velocity and the less the axle rubs against the caliper, and this means less mating wear. The wheels were designed deaf. And it’s easier to print and they won’t carry snow home with them. We recommend treating the wheels with acetone for ABS and DXM for PLA to avoid water ingress.

Calipers designed for 16 and 20 skid tubes. As an axis, an aluminum pipe D16 45 mm long was used for 20 calipers. For 16 calipers, a 40 mm long axle is used. If there is no D16 tube, then the axes can be printed on the printer. Don't forget to grease. We use silicone. When using another, check for compatibility with plastic. The calipers have holes for lubrication. The wheels are connected to each other with a M6x55-60 screw, the caliper is fastened to the M5x30-35 skids. If the axes are printed, then you can do without M6 screws, and glue them with acetone or DCM.

Prototyped with PLA from #Bestfilament, finished in ABS. Layer 0.3. Calipers 70% filling, wheels 40% with an increased number of up to 8 perimeters and 6 bottom and cover. Print speed up to 60 mm/sec.
