Drawing Settings
Grid is a set of visible, evenly spaced dots that provide a convenient way to position drawing objects relative to others. Dimensions
Right-click on any toolbar and select the menu item Dimenstion to open the corresponding toolbar.

Dimensional number represents the value of one or another spatial characteristic of the modeled object.
Dimension line crosses the dimension number and is usually located along the measured side of the object, the ends of the dimension line are indicated by arrows.
Extension line is used to indicate object points, the distance between which is indicated by dimension lines and a number.

Scale
Scale factor - how much to stretch or shrink the image on the drawing. The value of the scaling factor that controls the dimensions of the individual components of the dash-dotted line is stored in the LTSCALE system variable, and the value that specifies the "sizes" of the dimension variables is stored in the DIMSCALE system variable.
To set the line scale from the command line, type ltscale and specify the desired value.
To change the scale of dimension elements: select Dimension Style from the menu Format or enter dimstyle at the command line.

In interface element group Scale for Dimension Features in line Use overall scale of (Use overall scale) enter the value of the scaling factor for the current drawing. When finished entering, press the OK button. Select the created dimension style from the list Styles (Styles) and set it to current Set Current , press the button Close (Close).

Template
Template - a file used by the system as a base file with *.dwt extension.
From the File menu select Save As and from the Save as type drop-down list select Drawing Template File (*.dwt) . If drop down list Save as type AutoCAD 200 Drawing (*.dwg) is selected, the file will be saved as a regular drawing. You can save the template file using the saveas command.

Text Style
From the Format menu, select Text Style (Text Style):

To edit an existing style, select it from the drop-down list; and to create a new style, click on the button New (New) and enter a name for the style.
