Software Update
Important!
* Before updating the device, please be sure that the IPTU sensor is attached to the shaft!
* Check and note the current software version before updating the device.
(OPTIONS---OTHERS---FIRMWARE UPDATE)
Update Steps:
- 1. Download the update file.
- Copy the UpdateInv.tar file in the Invenio folder to a USB flash drive.
- 2. While the device is on, insert the USB drive into the USB port located at the back of the system box.
- 3. Remove the battery from the top of the shaft. Insert one end of the USB cable, which is supplied with your device, into the USB port in the battery compartment.
- 4. Press the OPTIONS button. Select FIRMWARE UPDATE under OTHERS and press OK.
- 5. When the process window appears on screen, press OK again and wait for the process to be completed.
- 6. When the window below appears on screen, remove the USB drive and insert the other end of the USB cable instead.
- 7. The blue LED on the handle will light up and the device will shut down after the process is completed.
- 8. Turn on the device again. The blue LED on the handle will light up again as well.
- 9. Wait for the progress bar to be bull. Once the update is completed, the device will shut down once more. Remove the USB cable.
- 10. Turn the device on and press the OPTIONS button. Check the software version under FIRMWARE UPDATE to make sure that the update has been installed successfully.
- 11. Finally, select FACTORY SETTINGS and press OK to set all the settings of the device back to factory defaults.

Download the upgrade file. - Copy the UpdateInv.tar file to the Invenio folder on the USB stick.
- 2. With the device turned on, insert the USB drive into the USB port located on the back of the system unit.
- 3. Remove the accumulator from the top of the shaft. Plug one end of the USB cable that came with your device into the USB port in the battery compartment.
- 4. Press the OPTIONS button. In the OTHER section, select SOFTWARE UPDATE and press OK.
- 5. When the process window appears on the screen, press OK again and wait for the process to complete.
- 6. When the screen below appears, remove the USB stick and plug in the other end of the USB cable instead.
- 7. The blue LED on the handle will turn on and the device will turn off when the process is completed.
- 8. Turn on the device again.
The blue LED on the handle will also light up again. - 9. Wait until the progress bar turns bullish. After the update is completed, the device will turn off again. Disconnect the USB cable.
- 10 Turn on the device and press the OPTIONS button. Check the software version in the SOFTWARE UPDATING section to make sure the update was installed successfully.
- 11 Finally, select FACTORY SETTINGS and press OK to reset all device settings to factory defaults.
