i would like to take advantage of your experience and ask if its a wise decision to buy a XYZprinting da Vinci 1.0 AiO ? is it good quality ? easy to use ?

Hmm…they are a very basic printer and you are locked into xyz filament which is ridiculously expensive and poor quality. They also have a poor range of filaments. Costing around 30 pound compared to non xyz filament that you can get for half that. The print head is also questionable…but the worst part of the xyz printers is the software…they have locked the whole system so they keep proprietary control…but the slicing software is terrible. No control over support structures or first layer heights or anything…I use mine just as a spare in emergencies. If you want a good printer that’s cheap and allows better software and thousands of options of filament to choose from then I would advise a prusa kit…you can get them for 200 pound if you buy the kit and build it yourself…which is very simple and gives you a HUGE advantage in you know your printer inside out and gain a good understanding of what it is actually doing. Shop around. Xyz has the potential to be good but it is far too limited and basic and sooner or later you’ll want to progress and davinci printers don’t allow that. Hope his helps a little

@Davide_Dave_Gro Thank you for your advice … i think i will start my 3d printing experience with a wanhao duplicator i3 .

Do u recommend any specific 3d printer for a beginner like me ? something good no need to be very pricey .

I don’t know about the AiO part, but I bought a used da Vinci 1.0a, and after printing one sample part to be sure it worked, I spent the next 20 minutes reflashing the firmware with Repetier. Complete instructions are Googlable. Now it can use any filament, toss the XYZ $$ cartridge. And it has much better control from the front panel menus, and can use just about any host software. I use Simplify3D. I’ve extended the SD card slot so that it’s accessible from the side, and now I can also print host free from the SD card. I’ve made up a spool holder so that it can hold any brand spool, feeding directly downwards through the slot in the top of the case. With those fixes, it’s a very fine printer. Keep an eye out for a dirt cheap used one.

Unfortunately is not. i Have to Davinci 1.0A and a 2.0 both of them as quality they are lower than a prusa kit for example . Unfortunately davinci will never have prints like Zmorph,Zortax Ultimaker,Sharebot and other good printers for having the experiance of 3d printing and few prints is just ok but nothing great
