OUR RECENT PROJECT

A recent challenge faced by PrintPerfecto from Sumathi Hospital, Madurai.
The hospital approached us for a patient specific 3D printed model. An accident case patient had multiple fractures on his right facial bones(technically called zygoma and maxila bone). The doctors could not get the exact details of the broken anatomy of the patient with CT scans. This is where PrintPerfecto had played its role by converting the CT images (DICOM data to STl format) and 3D printing it.
This made an huge impact for the doctors by giving the reference on the exact anatomy of the patient and planning their surgery well ahead and completion of the surgery in half the time it would have taken otherwise.
Challenges faced :

The lead time was less than 24 hours
Hospital Staffs reached out by late evening around 10.00 pm on 15/10/2019. The operation was planned on 16/10/2019 by 1.00m pm.
PrintPerfecto stood up to the challenge and our team analyzed the scan and designed and printed the model overnight

Indian company 3D-ing offers FabX 3D printer for only $325

3D printing technology, if made inexpensive enough, can be a powerful factor in the development of the economy of any country. For example, an Indian 3D-ing company has just released a FabX 3D printer that seems unbelievably low priced.

“The news about the release of FabX appeared on January 31, on the second birthday of our company. Now we are already accepting pre-orders, - says a representative of the company. “Our company manufactures FabX in-house and plans to sell it both in India and overseas.”

The cost of the printer is only 19999 rupees, which is approximately 324 dollars. The 3D-ing company was able to achieve such an amazingly low price because they struggled to keep their production costs down.

The FabX is based on the HiWin rail and block system, which guarantees "super high quality" printing in the X and Y axes. The print bed is supported by neodymium magnets and can be easily removed. Below are the main features of FabX:

“FabX was created specifically for students, enthusiasts and small prototyping purposes,” explains a 3D-ing spokesperson. “In the future, our company plans to release 3D printers for industrial prototyping and architecture.”

Mumbai-based J Group Robotics™ today announced the launch of India's first Vector PLA 3D 3D printer. Vector PLA 3D will be available in seven different colors and will be priced at Rs 149,000 ($2276).
