Stereolithography (SLA)

SLA is most suitable for accurate concept models where feature definition and a smooth surface finish are required.

Offers a vast material selection with a range of properties, as well as the ability to print multiple materials and simulate overmolds.

SLA can create complex and multi-material parts in a single operation, significantly less build time is needed vs. traditional manufacturing.

Multi Jet Fusion by HP

Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) is HP’s proprietary 3D printing process.

MJF produces functional plastic parts with isotropic mechanical properties that can be used for detailed prototyping or end-use low-volume production.​

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)

SLS 3D Printing process that produces high quality and strong parts by fusing Nylon plastic powder using heat and detailed agent.

Commonly used as substitute for functional injection moulded parts with good chemical resistance. Nylon or polyamide (PA) is a thermoplastic with excellent mechanical properties, high chemical and abrasion resistance. Perfect for functional applications.

It is higher cost than FDM, longer lead times than FDM

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)

FDM printed parts are available in a variety of high-performance plastics for applications that require resistance to the elements.

PLA is a one of the biodegradable thermoplastic for low-cost, non-functional prototyping. Greater detail than PETG and ABS, but more brittle. Unsuitable for high temperatures.

We use the most advanced industrial FDM 3D printers designed to meet tolerances of +/- 0.15 per mm, whichever is greater.

FDM is capable of producing end-use parts on-demand, increasing throughput and helping you get to market faster.

Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS)

Direct metal laser sintering (DMLS), also called selective laser sintering (SLS), is a type of metal additive manufacturing or 3D printing. It’s used for both for rapid prototyping and mass production of metal parts.

The method is very similar to selective laser melting (SLM), also called direct metal laser melting (DMLM), but on a molecular level, the powder is only sintered (not melted) together. This results in parts that are more less porous than the melting method. The advantage to this is that you can easily print from alloys containing materials with different melting points.
