Q: Ender 3 v2 filament not sticking to bed?

A: Do not stick to the heated bed, the following adjustments are recommended:

2) If the printing speed of the first layer is too fast, it may cause a non-stick bed. It is recommended to adjust the printing speed to 30%-50% of the normal printing speed by rotating the knob when printing the first layer. After the first layer is printed, return to 100% printing speed
3) The soft magnetic sticker/carbon-silicon crystal glass is smooth and non-stick, try to apply solid glue evenly on the glass plate/or stick a layer of masking tape before printing. Please do not use IPA to wipe the glass plate. Organic solvents will destroy the coating on the surface of the glass plate.

Creality Ender 3 Neo, like many other versions of Ender 3, is one of the modifications of the base device. Creality generally likes this approach and often releases both cheaper versions of their basic devices, as well as more expensive and larger ones.

Appearance and equipment

Externally, the Creality Ender 3 Neo is almost an exact copy of the Ender 3, but a little lighter, 7 kg versus 8 kg for the basic version. nine0005

Ender 3 Neo is an open type FDM printer, the filament spool mount is on top. It is important to clarify that the Ender 3 Neo is a DIY printer, so after unpacking it will need to be assembled. Assembly time is approximately 30-40 minutes, there is nothing complicated in it, there is an instruction on three sheets in the kit.

The maximum advertised print speed is 120mm/s, we were able to easily overclock the printer to 90mm/s without any printing errors.

Automatic calibration in the printer. The CR-Touch auto-calibration sensor is responsible for it. In addition to automatic calibration, you can also carry out the initial calibration manually, since there are convenient screws under the platform.

Heated table to 100 degrees works as it should, although unlike the CR-5 Pro from our previous review, the table is not powered by 220V, and heats up not so quickly. But the CR-5 Pro is still far from a budget printer, and the Ender 3 Neo is VERY budget. nine0005

The motherboard is traditionally from Creality, the printer is very quiet.

Control screen and data transfer

The control screen, as in many budget printers, is a screen with a rotary control knob. Cheap, cheerful, but it works. For the price, you shouldn't have expected more.

Creality Ender 3 Neo works with Creality's "branded" slicer which is based on the old version of Cura. So it's best to just transfer the printer profile from the branded slicer to the original Cura latest version, so you won't have any problems when slicing the model.
